Bud Spencer was born as Carlo Pedersoli on October
31st 1929 in Napoli, Italy. He started his career as
a swimmer and attended the Olympic Summergames in
both Helsinki, Finland in 1952 and Melbourne,
Australia in 1956. In 1951 he made his first movie
Quo Vadis.
In 1960 he gets married to Maria Amato
and she gives birth to their son, Guiseppe, in 1961
and in 1962 to a daughter, Christiana. He makes his
first movie with Mario Girotti in 1967
God forgives... I don’t
and at this time Carlo changes his
name to Bud Spencer. He chose that name because he is
a big fan of Spencer Tracy’s and because he thought
the English word "Bud" was very funny related to his
figure. In 1972 his youngest daughter, Diamante, was
born.
Today he lives in Rom, Italy still working as an
actor.

Mario Girotti was born in Venice, Italy on March 23rd
1939. He made his first movie when he was 12 years
old in 1951,
Holiday for Gangsters.
His biggest success as an actor was the two Trinity movies
They call me Trinity
(1971) and
Trinity is STILL my name
(1972) where he co-starred with Bud Spencer.
Mario Girotti changed his name to Terence Hill in
1967. It’s a combination of the author of a Latin
book, Terenzio, and the maiden name of his American
wife Lori Hill. Whom he married on July 23 1967. On 11 July
1969 his wife gave birth to his son, Jess Hill, who has also
been both the writer and an actor
(telegraph clerk) in the movie "Botte di Natale"
(1994).
Today Terence Hill and his wife live in
Massachusetts as film producer and actor.
